Scientists with the University of Nebraska Medical Center are working on an Alzheimer's study. Instead of working with SENIORS they are studying children in elementary school!
The purpose of the study is to see what happens to the brain and how it functions before the disease even develops. The children are taking the same tests that adults take to measure how their memory is working. They also receive MRIs. This research will benefit the development of new treatments, therapy and earlier detection.To participate in the study click here
