Vitamin K May Prevent Dementia

Vitamin K is found in green leafy vegetables. A study that was presented at an Experiment Biology meeting showed that it improved spatial memory and learning ability. It also reduced depression and anxiety.

The study was done with rats and will need to be done with human subjects. But it could be a very promising addition to help aging brains.

My advice is to ask your loved one's doctor about increasing Vitamin K.  Or, just serve your family member more foods that contain broccoli, kale, lettuce, cabbage.

I was a picky eater and grandma become one as well. But, there are yummy recipes that contain those green veggies.
